Welcome to the Kaizen Institute UK

The Kaizen Institute is a global organisation which provides consulting services to companies worldwide. The Kaizen Institute supports companies of all sizes and industrial segments as well as private and public service organisations.

Founded in 1985 by 'lean guru' Masaaki Imai, the Kaizen Institute can trace its DNA back to the Japanese founding fathers of the Toyota Production System.

In the UK, we focus our consulting and training on "helping you to help yourself". Through knowledge transfer we empower your people to implement improvements themselves. This is a vital component of sustainable improvement activity.

Our consultancy team are all experienced practitioners of lean and kaizen tools, with many years of 'hands on' involvement in improvement activity. Comfortable operating in many different environments and at all levels of your organisation, our flexibility and our ability to adapt to the needs of your business is our major strength.

Imai-san visits Kaizen Institute customers in the UK

The Kaizen Institute in the UK were recently honoured to host a visit from Masaaki Imai, Founder and Chairman of the Kaizen Institute and world-renowned author and authority on kaizen and lean philosophy.

During his visit Mr Imai spent time at the gemba of Kaizen Institute customers Astra Zeneca and Siemens Industry Drive Technologies,. He was also the keynote speaker at the Manufacturing Director's Conference in Manchester. On his final day with us he addressed an invited audience of healthcare directors and managers from the AQuA (Advancing Quality Alliance) Network in Bolton. All visits were a great success with the host companies gaining valuable advice and insight from Imai-san's observations, and many delegates leaving his lectures inspired to take a fresh look at kaizen opportunities in their organisations.
