Welcome to the Kaizen Institute UK

The Kaizen Institute is a global organisation which provides consulting services to companies worldwide. The Kaizen Institute supports companies of all sizes and industrial segments as well as private and public service organisations.

Founded in 1985 by 'lean guru' Masaaki Imai, the Kaizen Institute can trace its DNA back to the Japanese founding fathers of the Toyota Production System.

In the UK, we focus our consulting and training on "helping you to help yourself". Through knowledge transfer we empower your people to implement improvements themselves. This is a vital component of sustainable improvement activity.

Our consultancy team are all experienced practitioners of lean and kaizen tools, with many years of 'hands on' involvement in improvement activity. Comfortable operating in many different environments and at all levels of your organisation, our flexibility and our ability to adapt to the needs of your business is our major strength.

(Craig Harcombe – Laing O'Rourke)

“I came with little knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and I feel confident after the course that I can go back and implement many of the things I have learnt. The whole course was fun and enjoyable”.

(Duncan Lewis – Red Box Packaging)

“Exceeded my requirements.  Great content delivered with enthusiasm with clear knowledge and experience in all subjects.  Very good balance between classroom learning and practical shopfloor exercises”.
